Amy brings several decades of work in the environmental and climate justice movements and building statewide, multiracial coalitions to GPP. She developed politically through work in the prison abolition, environmental and housing justice movements in California, and has years of experience running statewide legislative campaigns and building alignment among grassroots groups across the state through her roles at the Environmental Justice Coalition for Water and as the former Co-Director at the California Environmental Justice Alliance. She is excited to be helping to develop GPP’s climate work and continuing her support of California movement-building through GPP’s statewide alignment work. She is fortunate to live on a small, beautiful island in Washington state, where she is raising one tiny human and thousands of plants.
