Molly (also known as MJ) has been organizing, facilitating, and building social justice organizations for over 20 years. First politicized through queer and anti-capitalist actions in Pacific Northwest in the 90s, Molly spent the early 2000s teaching sex ed in Philadelphia high schools before moving home to the SF Bay Area to be close to family, and to co-found the Anne Braden Anti-Racist Training Program with Catalyst Project. MJ spent 14 transformative years on staff at Causa Justa :: Just Cause gaining a deeper respect for the role of political education in community organizing, and is grateful to have been mentored by political prisoners and feminists of color. Molly is passionate about building movements that can win big and be spaces of connection and joy, loves parenting their two tweens, appreciates ‘dad’ jokes, and is happiest in the redwoods.
